About the place

Nes HaBria is a private holiday home in Midreshet Ben Gurion, a single self-contained unit built to take in the view of the Zin Canyon. The house has a bedroom, a kitchenette, a sitting area and a hot tub, and a spacious terrace facing the desert and the white cliffs of Nahal Zin.

Location and surroundings

The property sits on the rim of the Zin Canyon, about 2 km from the graves of David and Paula Ben-Gurion and the lookout beside them, and about 5 km from Ein Avdat Nature Reserve and Ben-Gurion’s Hut at Sde Boker. Midreshet Ben Gurion has a grocery store and a café, and ibex are often seen around the area in the morning and evening.

Hiking and activities nearby

Avdat National Park is about 9 km away and Shivta National Park about 19 km. Around half an hour’s drive brings you to the alpaca farm (about 34 km), the colored sands of the Big Crater (about 35 km) and the Ramon Crater Visitor Center (about 37 km).
