About the Place
Agama is a guest compound in Moshav Livnim, northwest of the Sea of Galilee. It has two luxury suites and two wooden cabins, each with a whirlpool jacuzzi, a kitchenette and a private balcony with a seating area. The cabins suit families of up to 5 guests, and the suites suit couples or families.
The units open onto a shared yard with a round pool heated in winter, a jacuzzi, an outdoor kitchen and barbecue area, a lawn, hammocks and sun loungers. By prior arrangement and for a fee, guests can order breakfast delivered to the unit, spa treatments and decorations for birthdays and anniversaries.
Location and Surroundings
The compound is in the western Ginosar Valley, bordering a mango orchard, with views of the Galilee, the Sea of Galilee, the Golan Heights and Mount Arbel. Migdal Junction, with the Dabach supermarket, the Magdalena, Tanurin and Angus restaurants and Cafe Aroma, is about a 10 minute drive. Within the moshav, about 3 minutes on foot, there are playgrounds, football and basketball courts and an active synagogue.
Hikes and Activities in the Area
Hukuk Beach on the shore of the Sea of Galilee is about a 5 minute drive from the compound. About 10 minutes’ drive to the north is the Vered HaGalil horse ranch, with riding for the whole family and Tibi’s restaurant nearby. In winter and spring, the walking trail along lower Nahal Amud is recommended.
Who Is It For?
The compound suits couples, families and guests travelling with dogs, by prior arrangement. It can also be booked for groups of up to 20 people for celebrations and family events.
